It's exciting and fun for us as humans to see discovery and reaction in others, especially Peter the Elephant and his Samsung Galaxy Note. So much so that he has amassed a collection of thousands of samples. After reading Uncle Tungsten by Oliver Sacks, he thought that the London Science Museum's periodic table displayed samples of the elements on a table. Like so many natural phenomena, Brinicles look absolutely supernatural. </p> <p>This <a href="http://design.org/video" target="video">video</a> footage from <a href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/nature/15835017" target="BBC: Frozen Planet">BBC: Frozen Planet</a> shows a time-lapse of Brinicle formation and its path of destruction.
