AIGA 2010 Salary Survey

The 2010 AIGA|Aquent Survey of Design Salaries is now published and available online. The Survey of Design Salaries is an in-depth report of compensation and benefits that people in the design field are currently earning. It covers stats and definitions of 15+ positions, who's getting paid what and where in different US regions. You can check out the quick overview or read the entire report.

The Survey of Design Salaries is also more than just numbers, it’s packed with advice for keeping abreast of changes in the design business and suggestions as to "how to be the best at your craft". I found it interesting to read, but I’m also kind of a nerd. So, whether you are the top-dog or just graduated, this is certainly a great reference, especially now with the still somewhat shaky and recovering economy.

Be knowledgeable and confident when negotiating your compensation.
