Bring Bauhaus to Your Smartphone: The Bauhaus Archive App

I recently downloaded the free Bauhaus Archive app from the Bauhaus Archive Museum of Design in Berlin. The app houses various selections from the Bauhaus Collection, covering innovations in a variety of the fields of design, from graphic, typography and poster design to architecture, furniture and product design.

The app allows you to view more than 100 high-res images of "The Bauhaus Collection: Originals of Classic Modernism," and a history of the school and movement, including studies from courses and workshop pieces. By selecting various topics and pieces, you can also experience the complete audio tour of the collection—pretty informative and not too dry.

The Bauhaus Archive app also includes helpful vistor information for the museum. Visit the Archive app page at iTunes to download.
