Custom Packaging for a Limited Run of New Vivitar Ultra Wide and Slim Cameras
Four Corner Store has a treat for photographers and lomo lovers alike. They have procured a limited run of 75 new Vivitar Ultra Wide and Slims and are selling them in custom packaging, complete with a roll of their C-41 Black and White film.
We love the gorgeous packaging designed by Kristen Hudson of branding and design agency Hudson Nichols. The handcrafted boxes come individually numbered and nestled inside a Four Corner Store bag. Is this a case where the packaging is cooler than the product?

Vivitar set out to produce a cheap point-and-shoot camera suitable for mass-production. What they got was the Ultra Wide and Slim, which became a legendary camera, producing a strong vignette and a wide angle shot from its 2mm lens. According to Four Corner Store, this now rare camera triggered the 35mm toy camera movement, and this may be the last chance to procure such a relic. And a relic deserves a crate. Nice choice Kristen.
