Here's a contest connected to our color inspiration post this week. Later today we'll put up our "Color Inspiration" feature and invite you to submit a project, design, illustration, photograph, art piece inspired by this week's palette.

How To Play:

Take inspiration from this week's color palette and create an original work of your own.

1. post an image of your work to your blog, Flickr, website, profile, and link to this post in the image description
2. comment on this week's "color inspiration" with a link to your work
3. post your entry link in the comments by end of Friday (11/12)

We'll select our top-ten favorites and share them in a post next Monday. The winning entry will receive a $15 iTunes Gift Card. The top-ten entrants that week receive a virtual badge of honor.

It's an opportunity for all of us to meet new artists and designers and as a way to prompt creative thought and put inspiration in to action. Maybe you'd like to get to know us too? Our team of writers and designers may add entries, but we won't participate in the contest.

P.S. Please be sure to link to an image that is at least 620 pixels wide. We'd hate to have to post a blurry example of your work.
