Shoes of Prey is an Australian company founded by friends Michael, Jodie and Mike. They took Jodie's passion for bespoke shoes and turned it into a marketable business by making customizable footwear attainable through their online shop.

Designers can choose the style, heel type and size, extra decor, toe, back, materials (leather, patent, suede, fish scale, snakeskin, hair, italian silk, etc.) and color.

The shoes seem pretty popular for brides and wedding parties, but the possibilities seem oddly endless, especially when you view their samples section, where you can purchase shoes as-is or use them as a jumping-off point for your own design.

The team even produces videos showing their favorite custom designs, tips for designing, introductions to the various materials and more. Their well-rounded marketing seems to have paid off as they've been picked up by names like Marie Claire, the Wallstreet Journal, Time Out New York and others.
