Domino Wall Clock: Repurposing an Icon

Carbon Design Group created this wall clock to add a touch of fun to an often stressed association we have with time.

Carbon converted an iconic game piece into a practical design object and home accessory. They claim "by subtly abstracting the idea of time... [the] clock creates a more relaxing experience" and relationship with time.

Each domino is wirelessly integrated, and the individual dots flip and fall, much like analog flip-clocks, to change the hour and minutes. They plan to produce the clock sometime next year.
