Don't Fear the Internet: Beginners Web Help from Jessica Hische and Russ Maschmeyer

Design, web, dontfeartheinternet

I'm pretty excited to see what kinds of tips and suggestions this duo has in-store for us less than web-advanced designers out there. Typographer Jessica Hische and self-taught Web Designer Russ Maschmeyer present Don't Fear the Internet, a collection of guided video tours of customizing a Wordpress theme using html, css and php.

They'll be posting video tutorials on the site that will walk designers through the elements of site code and help them learn about basic web design. Currently, they've only posted their sneak peek Intro video, but check back for tutorials.

In the resources section of the Don't Fear site, the duo shows that there are plenty of helpful resources and tutorials floating around on the interwebs for designers to learn from, but sometime it's nice to have a guiding hand in the beginning of a new venture.
