The Extraordinary People Campaign by Ideas Factory

Douglas & Gordon asked Ideas Factory, a london-based graphic design agency, to create an ad campaign.

They decided to focus on the company's most valuable commodity: their employees. When Ideas Factory interviewed the staff, they "discovered that what makes them exceptional isn’t their expertise, dedication or professionalism, but the fascinating lives they lead outside the working week."

They discovered an array of talented individuals, from amateur boxers and ballerinas to part-time rabbit-trainers. The resulting campaign portrays staff members as their alter-egos, and in-turn, real and talented people, not just employees behind a desk. Fantastical sets and props were combined to create the narrative backdrop, with Paul Rider's photographic vision bringing each character to life through single images.
