The Film Interfaces of Mark Coleran: A Portfolio Show Reel

What do alternate versions of present and future user interface look like? What do the interfaces of your dreams — of great fiction you have read — conjure up? This is the world of modern motion picture user interface design.

This showreel highlights the work of San Francisco-based Mark Coleran, a once-print designer who now creates at the intersection of movies, interface design and motion graphics.

Including— among other huge names—Children of Men, The Bourne Ultimatum and Identity, Tomb Raider and the vast collection of awesome interfaces from The Island.

Mark is currently working in interaction and software design.
