Foldify is joy for the iPad. Designed and developed by Pixle, a development and UI design trio based in Warsaw, Poland, Foldify brings paper and tablet together in a playful and intuitive way. The app's motto—Create. Print. Fold.—says it all: Folders can choose existing designs or create their own characters / objects, air print to their printers and fold up real-world incarnations of their design.

The possibilities for creativity here are pretty open. For example, on their facebook page Foldify showed off an advent calendar they created using one of their forms. We're excited to take the app for a spin and see what we can come up with—it comes out in three days on December 13th! We'll be sure to report back.

Side note: This gives me comfort that my battles with the devil printer may somehow all be worth it.
