Freshthrills and Fresh Packaging: Creative Studio & Local Brew make a Great Thank You

Freshthrills, a creative studio in New York, "can be a little fanatical over craft beer." And thank goodness they are, because this awesome packaging design blossomed from that passion. They collaborated with a local brew master to bottle and package a special batch of Kelso Chocolate Lager for Freshthrills' clients as a thank-you for a great year.

They drew inspiration directly from their native Brooklyn and dubbed the brew "Motorman" after the trolly engineers that navigated the streets of Brooklyn in the early 1900s. Freshthrills says: "The Motorman is a perfect symbol of resourcefulness because they not only operated and maintained the trolley but also acted as the conductor. It’s fair to say they had a tough, but respectable job. We likened the Motorman’s responsibilities to that of, Freshthrills and how we approach our work."

They also added "the Motorman’s Decree," a set of guidelines they imprinted on the coasters to bring humor and usefulness to the project.

I wish I was on their client list, because I would feel like "one lucky person" to receive a package of that beautiful packaging.
