Giant Toaster Mosaic Installation (Made of Toast)
Giant Toaster Mosaic Installation (Made of Toast)

This made me smile, and the planning is pretty impressive. The Toaster is an installation art piece from FA+Art, the collaborative studio of Ingrid Falk & Gustavo Aguerre. Measuring 5 x 4.5 meters, The Toaster is composed of 2,500 pieces of toasted bread. They digitized a photo of a toaster, and represented each pixel with a piece of bread, roasted to perfection using analogs. This creates a pointillism effect—when the viewer stands close to the piece, the bread is recognizable, but when stepping back, the toaster and creator of toast becomes visible.
