The GooApple Valley Fruit Mobile Design
Stop picketing and call back the soldiers, the Apple/Android war is over.

Over at Android Community I stumbled upon an intriguing item. As the title may hint, a company has created an iPhone-style android mashup. GooApple in China, created the Valley Fruit Mobile, because, they say, the phone combines high-end style (AKA iPhone knock-off) with the iOS-style Android operating system (what?!?) because "the depth of customization in the Android2.2 operating system is more suitable for Chinese people."

The specs, according to Android Community: 3G, a 3.5-inch capacitive display, 3D connectivity + WCDMA, Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS, "a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, running on some sort of Qualcomm CPU (more than likely 600 Mhz,) and is the same thickness as the iPhone 4 at 9.3mm. The frame that surrounds this masterpiece is stainless steel and the glass that sits on either side of the device is glossy aluminosilicate..." The device has stereo speakers, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, USB and Bluetooth tethering and is running Android 2.2. The phone only supports full-sized SIM cards, and it costs about 1700 yuan ($262).

Maybe the real motivation behind the device (if it is, in fact, legit (?)) is that someone wanted a real reason to mash those two logos together.
