Not only does design studio Make & Matter have an awesome philosophy—create quality design that makes a difference in the lives it touches, but they also hold true to their vow by creating smile-generating work. One of my favorites in their portfolio has to be their packaging design for grainburger concoctors The Hot Dang.

The Hot Dang is a soy-free burger patty made using grains, nuts and oats. The package design utilizes stock white boxes with printed wrap-around labels—a versatile and low-maintenance approach, especially for a small company.

"The goal was to take a fresh, more fun, approach to an all-natural product." Mission achieved. If I passed these in the store, I would at least have to pause to read how the patties got their name and check out the little tape labels. Who am I kidding... I wold probably buy them based on the packaging alone.
