How Would You Brand the Zurich 2012 Olympics?

George Strouzas, a design student in Athens, answered that question with an excellent design package. His posters for the fictitious Olympics are based on patterns created with his original logo forms, much like Tamer Kosel did with his logo designs.

Design, brand, zurich, olympics, poster, Strouzas, student

The logo is composed to subtractively represent four people through the forms of four legs, with each pair facing a different cardinal direction. Strouzas says that he intended the design to symbolize unity and neutrality.

His reasoning for color choices:

I think he did a great job with the forms and colors, and made an effort to give every part of the design a meaning and purpose. This is a great exercise idea for design classes.
