Kyle Letendre, a graphic designer and letterer, was once asked why he frequently refers to himself as a "type geek." His response: "I believe in type."

In response to his response, he created an online typography sketchbook, aptly titled I Believe in Type. It includes a variety of hand-drawn type sketches on photo elements and patterned backgrounds. See a sampling of his designs below:
