The iCade: An Arcade for Your iPad

ThinkGeek originally created this playful and ingenious design as an April Fools spoof, but they say the iCade product design will become a reality and be available for purchase in June 2011.

The iPad connects to the arcade cabinet via bluetooth and acts as the brains and display to play classic games with the working joystick and arcade buttons. ThinkGeek partnered with ION and Atari to bring a huge suite of classic arcade titles to iPad. ThinkGeek will release an API for developers to easily add iCADE support to almost any game. The accessory will sell for $99 at ThinkGeek.
