We got more than a little excited when we saw the Nifty MiniDrive Kickstarter project. A few of us at DDO switched over to Mac Airs with our latest computer upgrade. With perfect portability, a beautiful and accurate display and speed, we don't find ourselves yearning for our old machines, and the only complaint that has arisen regards space. With heavy dropbox loads and large design files, there's not much room to spare for other files like music, images or video.

In 1994 Artist Melissa Marks and Interface designer Vicente Caride purchased and inhabited their 1,500-square-foot New York home. The open floor plan was inviting and exciting, but their now 10-year-old son was getting a bit too old for an open room. He needed a door, but he probably never imagined that his need for a room of his own and a love of legos would translate to a renovation revolving around the building blocks.

Take a look at this suite created by Mikorey and Sons, the visual design work of Maximilian Mikorey. Designed for The Catskill Kairo as a "Highly Limited Box Set," the single production for Megatron Inc. Sounds aimed to "present the Catskill Kairo’s “Defini Too Cool To Tour These Cities” in a visual identity embodying the spirit of the band and outlining their idea of self-empowerment meeting avant-garde styles."
