John & John Potato Crisps Packaging and Graphic Design

Designed by German branding and design agency Peter Schmidt Group, these bags for John & John British potato crisps take snack packaging to a much higher level. The graphic color blocks make the bags look more like carefully crafted poster designs and less like the average chip bag. I could honestly see these successfully framed in a collection.

The colors and varied shapes make each bag stand out on its own but also compliment the next one—making each a part of the whole, and the small, simple graphics add a bit of fun a identity to each flavor. To take the anchor branding a step further, the bold designs seem to glean some inspiration from Navy signal flags.
