The Latest Polaroid News: Grey Label Brings Polaroid to a New Decade

Yesterday, Polaroid and Lady Gaga announced the arrival of their new Grey Label. The new product line celebrates the cornerstones of Lady Gaga's vision for Polaroid: Creativity, Instant Artistry and Fashion. They unveiled three new additions to the instant photography giant's collection.

The GL10, 20 and 30 bring instant photography to a new generation of users, while maintaining the nostalgic elements of instant photo sharing, both physically and digitally. The GL10 is a compact and sleek photo printer, or "portable photobooth" for digital files with the option of the classic polaroid border, full bleed and 3x4 prints. The printer will be released in May at a suggested price of $149.99

The GL20 Camera Glasses allow users to take photos with the built-in camera and share them on the specs' LCD screen. We've seen similar technology in plenty of films, but it's crazy to think that these will be available to the general public (depending on the suggested retail).

And the GL30 is the newest instant camera, which uses ZINK Zero Ink technology to fuze modern shoot-and-see digital camera benefits, with the option and tactile quality of instant prints. Both the GL20 and 30 will be released later this year, price TBD.

What do you think? Will these help Polaroid reach a new audience? Are the products revolutionary technology or just wrapped in a new package? Would you benefit from any of these? I could see a compact printer being a great accessory for today's camera phones.
