Danish-Furniture.com is a great resource for browsing and learning more about the Mid-century Modern era of Danish furniture design, a period when architects and manufacturers entered into partnerships that produced magnificent results.

You can browse the 150 piece collection by designer or view their three virtual exhibitions explaining the need for and development of plywood furniture, the trend of folding chairs or the design and furnishing of the Royal Hotel.

I enjoyed reading about the designers and flipping through the fantastic images. There is some grade-A eye-candy there, and I have the perfect place for quite a few pieces, so if anyone wants to make a donation, please let me know.
