Modular Forms in Paper by Richard Sweeney
Modular Forms in Paper by Richard Sweeney
It's difficult for me to believe that these forms are constructed with only folded and glued paper. Richard Sweeney is the patient UK paper artist and three-dimensional designer behind these structured yet delicate forms that seem to redefine the capabilities of paper.

Richard says "The limitations of paper as a form [make the] material offer a challenge, which through playful investigation results in tangible models... Hands on manipulation provides perhaps the best insight into the properties of a material, allowing its behaviors to be discovered and exploited for the generation of form."
