Nest: An Intelligent and Well-Designed Thermostat

Nest changes the way you will interact with your home. Designed by former Apple and iPod masterminds, it's a smart thermostat that learns about your preferences every time you adjust the settings. With features like auto-away that conserves energy when no one is home and the Nest Leaf, signaling you that you are saving energy at the current settings, Nest makes it easier to understand and recognize energy use and savings. After about a week, Nest remembers your daily schedule and adjusts temperatures accordingly, translating to lower energy bills over time.

One of the coolest features is its mobile adjustment capabilitie. If you connect your Nest via WiFi, you can log in to your account from anywhere and adjust temperatures on the go using a computer or the mobile app. It even looks at the current weather conditions to adjust the environment. Watch the video below for more info and a tour of the product.
