The Nifty MiniDrive: Easily Add Transferable Space to Your Mac Air or Pro

We got more than a little excited when we saw the Nifty MiniDrive Kickstarter project. A few of us at DDO switched over to Mac Airs with our latest computer upgrade. With perfect portability, a beautiful and accurate display and speed, we don't find ourselves yearning for our old machines, and the only complaint that has arisen regards space. With heavy dropbox loads and large design files, there's not much room to spare for other files like music, images or video.

Apparently Piers and Steve had similar sentiments when they devised the Nifty MiniDrive. Instead of settling for a bulky, full-sized SD card sticking out of the computer, they devised a plan for an adapter to house a mini SD card. Nifty inserts flush to the mac, adding extra space whilst blending in almost seamlessly. As a bonus, the SD card adds a little flexibility to storage—it's still physical and removable but also highly water and wear resistant. Sign us up! It's not surprising that the duo has reached more than 1000% funding with almost a month to go on their Kickstarter ($154,308 of a $11,000 goal).
