Nike Oregon Ducks 2012 Rose Bowl Uniform Design
Here's a preview of the NCAA college football Oregon Ducks uniforms that we’ll see in the upcoming January 2nd Rose Bowl in Pasadena. Nike has incorporated a raft of tech gear enhancements, from Nike Chain Maille Mesh to Pro Combat Deflex padding, the Pro Combat System that promises better temperature and moisture regulation, lighter protection and breathability for the players.

Aside from the performance enhancements, the new designs—fashion-wise—are unique to college football. Following the trend of dark on dark uniforms with highlights in the details, the designers brought the shoulder wings up to a "liquid metal" helmet, highlighted the 'O' more subtly, and incorporated the performance vents and pads into the design. The typography gives the standard varsity numbers a twist with an iridescent sheen echoing the feathers and the undershirt striping and details adds some detailed flair.
