Pet Product Brand and Packaging Design from Sandstrom Partners

A while back I saw a package of Good Buddy dog cookies at my local grocer and thought that the packaging looked fantastic. Recently I stumbled upon the work of Sandstrom Partners, a brand design firm in Portland, and found that they are the masterminds behind the Castor & Pollux brand.

And the rest of the pet supplier's products are wrapped in clever and attractive packaging too. Sandstrom Partners created the entire identity for Castor & Pollux, from the name, to the logo, to the product titles. They tried to channel how pets would brand the line, which produced tag lines like “Paw Made” and “No humans were harmed in the production of this product” and product names like “Gotta Go Kitty Litter,” “Wet Nose Rawhide” and “Good Buddy Cookies.”
