Pixel Animals and Sculptures by Shawn Smith
Pixel Animals and Sculptures by Shawn Smith

Shawn Smith, an artist in Austin, Texas, explores the intersection between the digital world and reality through his pixelated sculptures. He uses a variety of materials including wood, plastic and metal to form natural objects in a physically translated digital form.
Shawn is interested "in how we experience nature through technology. When we see images of nature on TV or on a computer screen, we feel that we are seeing nature but we are really only seeing patterns of pixilated light."

The objects are beautiful and intriguing and would look amazing installed in a home or public environment.
