Poe Book Cover Redesigns by Richard Stewart

When Boston-based designer Richard Stewart read Poe for the first time, he fell in love with the writer's work. To show his appreciation for some of his favorite works, he decided to design a cover set—craft inspired by craft. See his cover designs below

I love the publishing house detail on the spine as well. What do you think—do you like this approach for Poe covers?

You can see the spirit and care Richard puts into his work under his studio Commoner Inc., where he flexes his design skills and backs them up with a blue-collar-inspired work ethic and love of the DIY.
