Reel Love: Takuya Hosogane's 2011 Motion Graphics

I enjoy when designers seem to effortlessly compile their years work into upbeat and seamless musical portfolio reels. I'm not sure how others feel about the trend, but I think the short videos are a nice way to glimpse the designer's aesthetic through their clips, compilation and the music they choose.

One such example is Takuya Hosogane, whose 2011 reel has a nice variety of design with a working beat, and I feel like I get to know the designer a bit when watching the clip.

Anyone have any thoughts on personal logo reels, and the lasting trend toward bite-sized samples paired with music?
