Rio Coffee Identity by Voice
Voice, a design company in Australia, created the branding for Rio Coffee. The clever logo references the iconic steaming coffee cup without being cliche—the bold and rounded Fs and the minimal cup put a new and modern spin on the symbol.

Voice created the 64 campaign for Rio "to create a coffee product that reinforced Rio Coffee’s longevity in the coffee industry and evoke a sense of nostalgia by looking back at the birth of the brand. The solution involved establishing a premium, contemporary appearance whilst maintaining a style reminiscent of the 1960s," when Rio began roasting.




Velocita—Italian for ‘speed’—emphasizes the freshness and newness of the coffee, and the tape labels add to form and function by providing a place to write-in the roasting and use-by dates.

And they designed this A6 booklet as a taste guide to the 14 blends and single origin hand-roasted coffees offered by Rio. The blends are represented by rich photographs of the raw beans origins with descriptions of taste and experience.
