In honor of the approaching halloween season, design.org asked me to illustrate some scary type situations. The second offender: Type Mutilation.

I know it's getting close to Halloween, but, really, who do you think you are, Jack the Ripper? Stop stretching, pulling, twisting, and mutilating your fonts! If you treat your fonts like a civil human being would, they can really enhance your designs typographically. Keep this in mind for future designs, unless you want your work looking like a murder scene.
