The Silhouette Project by Brent Holloman
The Silhouette Project by Brent Holloman
With the arrival of his first child and daughter, designer / illustrator / photographer Brent Holloman couldn't stop hearing the words "They grow up so fast," and while he couldn't stall that process, he could document in a beautiful and creative way. Thus, The Silhouette Project was born—Brent crafts and designs illustrative profile silhouettes of him and his wife's baby girl, Genevieve—Vie, cataloging the stages of her growth and, sometimes, connected feelings, thoughts and experiences.
You can see both subtle and distinct changes between the playful and unique illustrated snapshots (displayed here in no particular order). I'm interested to see how his style and content evolve over the course of this project—be sure to watch Brent's Blog each week for a new silhouette design.
