Small and Beautiful Scenes: Photography
Small and Beautiful Scenes: Photography
Lori Nix is a photographer and creator. These scenes of are unique in that they are all created. She doesn't work like the majority of photographers—instead of finding and capturing scenes, she builds them from scratch using found objects, foam core, paint, faux finishes and more.

She prefers to create destructive, dangerous and apocalyptic scenes, and they are often eerily beautiful. Her scenes are built for one angle, and once they are complete (usually after about 7 months) she photographs them from that angle for two to three weeks and tries different lighting effects.
