Stop Motion Animation: Paper Cutouts and Moleskine

Artist Rogier Wieland lets us glimpse how he made the Moleskine Stop-Motion Mini Planner video. He shows off his graphic and motion graphic design and stop-motion technique with massive amounts of cutting and pasting.

He used 15 extra small planners to create the video, not including the animation pages, which were printed on Moleskine A4 paper and cut either by hand or laser cutter. He glued his forms inside the planner with 25 frames per second, totaling 533 animated pages. The shoot took about two weeks with five weeks of production.
