Street Sign Inspired Quilt Design

Heather Jones created this Yield Quilt after being inspired by a parking lot yield sign, proving the "inspiration is everywhere" adage. She made the quilt as a part of Project Modern: Challenge 1, and the solid colors and simple shapes make a modern art object.

The combination of geometric shapes with the organic quilting path is a nice contrast. I wonder how different it would look with a straight quilting pattern. She may produce her first quilt pattern from the project. See more of her projects at her blog or shop, Olive & Ollie.
