Super Bowl Logo Design through 45 Years

Each year presents a new opportunity for some lucky designer or team to brand the Super Bowl. Last year's game alone had 106.5 million viewers, not to mention all those that looked at merchandise, ads, fans and packaging emblazoned with the logo.

This year's Dallas Super Bowl marks 45 years of logos, and we've come a long way (before the shield-style entered, some of the logos look like jazzed up (or not) word-art banners).

I don't think this year's logo is my favorite, but I'm having a hard time deciding which is. I think XLIV and XXIV are up there. Any favorite designs out there?
