Teach Kids Color Through Art: The Met Color Books

The Metropolitan Museum of Art Store sells these cute little color books filled with paintings and art from their collection.

What better way to start inspiring a young designer than with images centered around a color group and accompanied by details about artists. The board books feature a variety of artists from different cultures and explain how they used colors in their respective eras.

The Met also released an Animals book with the same premise.

I know these are intended for kids, but I could definitely geek out over the images and tidbits of info.
