This awesome and amazingly crafted scooter was created for grandson, Diego, from Grandfather.

I've seen the rocker posted on a few blogs labeled as "recycled" or "upcycled," but I'm convinced that it was actually designed and created, not recycled (as some of the comments on BoingBoing point out). And if you compare the proportions of a normal vintage bike to this one, I don't think even excellent welding could account for the changes. Either way, it's pretty cool, and Diego is one hip grand-baby.
