Yumaki Toothbrushes: Swedish Design and Japanese Production

Yumaki is the collaborative oral care line between a Swedish design company and a Japanese oral care manufacturing company.

They wanted to create a high-quality line of toothbrushes that kept design in mind while performing with the same efficiency as other high-quality brushes. Thus The Originals line includes a sleek and ergonomic shape and flexible handle, high-quality nylon bristles and are made from 100% recyclable PP material. The handles have a hole in the handle for single use dental accessories like interdental and tuft brushes.

Check out how slick their product shots and website are. Not a hint of blue bubbles or sparkling clear water.

And an innovative idea for brushes: since their product is recyclable, they offer an encouraging recycling program. For every three brushes a customer sends back, they receive a voucher for a complimentary Yumaki. They also offer a yearly subscription program, sending you a new toothbrush every three months.
