Zelli Library: A Moroccan Inspired Bookshelf Design

Younes Design created the Zelli series of bookshelves inspired by memories of childhood visits to his grandparents' library-like home in Morocco. The shelves take on the shape and structure of traditional zelliges in a modern and utilitarian form.

The unit is made of eight identical and interlocking components with no need for additional hardware, making it easy to assemble, and the geometry of the shelf seems to create a strong and sturdy unit. It's both an artistic centerpiece and storage piece.
