  • Perhaps paying slight homage to the Seven Dream Layers of Inception, this intensely soundtracked video diagrams and animates the Entry Decent Landing (EDL) of the Mars Curiosity. After watching this explanation of the seven-minute landing sequence that required complete autonomy on the rover's part, it is unbelievable and amazing that the 5,293-pound Curiosity landed successfully. • Theodore Gray, a founder of Wolfram Research, really loves elements. So much so that he has amassed a collection of thousands of samples. After reading Uncle Tungsten by Oliver Sacks, he thought that the London Science Museum's periodic table displayed samples of the elements on a table. When he discovered that he had misread the passage and the Museum's table was actually a normal, wall-mounted version, he embraced the misunderstanding and decided to created the table he has imagined.

  • In 2011, Michael Johansson of Pictionary Productions spent 120+ days on the road, visiting numerous countries and a laundry list of destinations that I am quite envious of (Mike. Need a writer, designer, assistant, water girl, gear carrier? Call me.). Since he didn't send any postcards during his adventures, he created this video version showing some highlights from the trips from both personal and professional footage.
